“Joey” my dad whispered. “JOEY,”
he yelled in my ear.
“ I am
up,” I said scrambling to my feet with his voice ringing in my
ear.
“I have
something to show you” he said walking away into the computer
room
“is it a
gift” I asked laughing a little
“it is a
gift in a way,” he said sitting down.
“what is
it?” I said jumping up & down.
“World of
Warcraft,” he said logging on to his account.
“what's
that” I said puzzled.
“A game
called WOW,” he said.
“ What does that stand for Daddy?” I
asked.
“ World
of Warcraft,” he replied.
“ can I
watch you play?” After I watched him play for 3 hours I asked,
“ Can I play on my own person too Daddy?”
“Tomorrow”
he said.
After he got
home from work and had a shower I asked, “ Now can I play my
own person daddy?”
He said, “
Let me show you how to play.” After he showed me, I played, and
he gave me pointers like, “ when you see the person in the
corner with yellow or red spots on him, it means your armor is
damaged. You have to get it fixed as soon as you can.” and “
Your money is in your bag and just put the mouse on the top of the
screen and it will show you.” That's when I felt so good. When
my dad showed me how to play it felt like a special bond was becoming
stronger as he showed me. If you where a mile away you would hear a
dude's yell because I was so excited. if you were there you would
be crying because it was beautiful When my dad was playing I asked, “
Why are you going so slow?”
“ It's
the lag that the major cities make because of so many people,”
he replied.
Then I asked,
“Why are there so many different types of people?”
“Because
there are five races on the two sides. On the alliance there are the
dwarfs, night elfs, humans, dreanies, gnomes. Then on the horde is
taurens, orcs, trolls, undead, and blood elfs. There are seven
classes hunter ,warrior, mage, warlock, paladin, rogue, death knight,
shaman and druid. Right now there are two expansion packs out Burning
Crusader and Wrath of the Lich King. When christmas comes, I will get
Wrath of the Lich King and talk to my dad when he gets his laptop so
when his job sends him some place.
When Daddy made my person it was a dreanies hunter which
was at level ten. By the time the summer was almost over I was at
level 40. My dad was playing for five months, and he was at 70. My
dad was a night elf rogue which is the second best. The first is the
death knight, a person that answers to the Lich King but then
betrayed him and now resides in a different dimension where they
train to come back and kill the Lich King. Now I can talk to my dad
with out upping the phone bill until my dad gets back from his job
that made him leave for six weeks.
The Lich King
is also a death knight but moved up the ranks from death knight to
Lich King, but now he is making a deal with the scourge: these are
the undead people that stayed and did not joined Sylvia wind-runner
so he can take over world of warcraft. Another thing you can do in
Wrath of the Lich King is that you can ride on Leroy's. They are
dragon type thing that you have to use in order to complete the
achievement leeeerrrrooooyyyy. which is you have to kill 15 Leroy's
in 5 minutes. Some achievements can earn you titles like the
leeeerrrrooooyyyy will earn you the Jerkin title, Ones that you run
around and uncover parts of the world are exploring achievements,
Other ones are reading one where you have to read the books listed
under the achievement when you click it to track it. The two last
ones are battlegrounds and killing all types of people for the
dungeon achievements. now on my 33 tauren druid and 14 gnome warlock
I can talk to my dad and try to kill him too (when he gets his
laptop). and on my druid I have 42 achievement done so I have 420
achievement points that I can use to get stuff I think. This is the
end of my memoir.
